Earthmoving Adelaide method: three inputs
The calculator multiplies hours by the selected category and site-movement factor. It rounds that subtotal to ten dollars, then shows the subtotal and a value with a 25% planning buffer. The categories are editable scenario inputs, not verified Adelaide market rates.
Choose movement constraints from measured facts. A gate width alone does not describe corners, eaves, gradients, surface strength, bucket reach or the route to the truck. If those details are unknown, return to the site checklist before treating the result as useful.
Costs deliberately outside the model
Mobilisation, attachments, support labour, spotters, traffic controls, locating, rock, water, weak fill, materials, cartage, receiving charges, testing, approvals and reinstatement are excluded. A provider may bundle some items, so compare the written inclusions before combining figures.
Save the chosen inputs and date. After inspection, replace this allowance with the provider's method, assumptions, exclusions and variation triggers. This tool exposes questions; it cannot predict ground, productivity or contract price.
